CEWEP – Confederation of European Waste-to-Energy Plants: Management CI and Website Development

We hired Communication Works to renew our website – and we got much more. They helped us to put ourselves in our stakeholders’ place to better understand their needs. We feel that our web presence is now not only fresher and more user-friendly. It also reflects our dynamic, open and accessible spirit and invites to dialogue. Communication Works was our inspiring and hands-on guide on this journey. And they kept both time and budget.

Aalborg University: Workshop Journalistic Writing

The in-house workshop on journalistic writing by Niels and Sabine was most valuable to me and my team. We learned a lot about how to appeal to both media and the general public even with “complicated” scientific matters. Now we know better how to write shareable content without scientific or EU-lingo for social and mass media”. The workshop gave inputs and has vastly improved our long-term strategy for aligning our communication channels.

Prof. Brian Vad Mathiesen, Aalborg University

Community Scouting is a very customer-oriented approach to cross-check your very own ideas, wishes and fears against the opinion of your fellow citizens. It’s really a tool to find out how to make possible what otherwise might not be possible.

We now know that we should have carried out Community Scouting much earlier. It helps us better integrate different opinions, understand what motivates our neighbors and how we can win their support.

Els Struiving, Team Member 050 Buurtwarmte and one of the initiators
